   Purchased a SAT800 a few years ago love the radio but looking for some help.It   
   seams the whip works well with no issuse,however when i connect an external   
   antenna and slide the switch over on the back i get no reception at all.Tried   
   a couple differnt    
   antennas connecting to the so239 and the twin lead, still nothing. Both were   
   wire antennas, any suggestions on what i can try?? In advance thank you all   
   for your time and effort.
