   My best 29MHz DX mobile was Jamaica, with me running 40W when dropping   
   down from the M4 into Bath. The whip was a standard legal (shortish) CB   
   type, mounted in the centre of the top lip of the rear door of my Ford   
   Escort. It was resonated at the top end of 10m by the simple addition of   
   a series capacitor (33p?) at the feed point.
