   It seems the FCC do use metric and 'imperial' units freely.   
      
   Also, the new FCC Chair is in the process of simplifying the rules   
   across the board, not just in CB or FRS areas. I suppose like the 'red   
   tape' removal drives we are often promised (in all areas) but rarely see.
