   Surely those with a genuine interest in _REAL_ amateur radio   
   would have the motivation to bring themselves up to   
   such a trivial level and not need a training course,   
   because for decades otherwise-unqualified   
   self-taught 14-year-olds tackled and passed the higher-level   
   RAE (and not to mention the 12WPM Morse Test)   
      
   I'm sure that they mean well, but radio societies and clubs   
   organising training courses for this, and for the lower   
   level Fools' licence, are signing the death warrant   
   for _REAL_ amateur radio.
