   This is a false mantra oft repeated; there is no concept of giving   
   something back because just being a radio amateur means that you   
   are an equal***** to all others and you owe them nothing.   
      
   Perhaps it is an indication of self-deception in the hubris   
   of those who seek attention by being on the board?
