   Bit of blinkered thinking there, for such a community has always   
   existed for as long as there has been amateur radio!   
      
   Perhaps another example of DoubleSpeak when what they really mean   
   is that they're concerned for their rapidly emptying coffers?   
      
   The 3-tier fiasco they requested has not solved their finances,   
   so what now?

   Well, we're all a day older than we were 24 hours ago, nothing new   
   there.   
      
   Once again, we're witnessing the obsession with young people (is that   
   a healthy obsession?) when all their existing attempts in that   
   direction have been abject failures (Funbus?) and do not reflect that   
   the cadre of _REAL radio amateurs are middle aged, soldering iron   
   wielding, CW enthusiasts.
