   Perhaps. In general, as we get older, we do become averse to change, and   
   nostalgic about simpler times.   
      
   There are some lovely old boys at one of my local clubs who love to chat   
   about the old times and how things were better back in the day. They tend   
   to ignore, and be ignored by, the newer generation. I assume this part of   
   the Interweb is the online equivalent of the corner of that clubhouse.
