   They, and other branches of the armed farces, do not defend our country;   
   they defend those that would eat from the golden trough. This was   
   certainly true in the case of WWI and its spawn WWII. Certainly, the   
   actions in Syria, and more recently in Iraq and Afghanistan have nowt to   
   do with defending this country, but are original warmongering.   
      
   As to speaking German, one langauge with which to grow up is as good   
   as any other. In any case, since joining the EU we've been controlled by   
   Germany anyway so making the killings by Brit in WWII pointless.   
      
   The recent aggrandisement of the Damn Busters is a case in point, for   
   several hundred innocent slave labourers were drowned.
