   I had problems with the 820S digital display and it finally just quit working.    
      
   I'm working with a new external digital display unit kit I found on Ebay from   
   a ham in Brazil.  Put it together and it works perfectly; Based on MCU   
   Microchip PIC16F628.  Box can be any size you like provided the led display   
   chip fits.  I'm using a 100mm    
   x 73mm x 41mm $5.00 plastic box.
