   "Club Log and DXLab are happy to welcome the Northern California DX Club   
   (NCDXC) as a sponsor of the Cass Award. Named in honor of legendary DXing   
   proponent and NCDXC member Cass WA6AUD, this award has encouraged   
   single-operator DXpeditions to maximize    
   the number of unique DXers worked with a Plaque for each year's    
   ingle-operator DXpedition that works the most unique callsigns within a   
   two-week interval. Winners of the Cass Award include Jeff Martin K5WE, José   
   Luis MuranoÿLU1FM, Nigel Cawthorne G3TXF,   
    Peri Monioudis, HB9IQB, and Rob Chipperfield M0VFC.   
      
   "The Northern California DX Club strongly encourages DXPeditions to work as   
   many DXers as possible", said Ross Forbes K6GFJ, NCDXC President. "This award   
   expands the number of DXers who recognize that DX Is!".   
      
   Beginning in 2018, Club Log, DXLab, and the NCDXC will offer a second   
   "unlimited" Cass Award: a Plaque for the multi-operator DXpedition that works   
   the most unique callsigns each year.
