Lets look at this problem logically and I need some details to help. First of all, smoking-gun test would be to install Y2KA2 (ie. any other release but Nuclear/TJ's). If that does not work, then lets look further. Is the port in Renegade locked at 57600 baud with CTS/RTS enabled and XON/XOFF disabled? Is E0 part of the initialization string? What does the answer string look like? Defaults? Also: - Does the problem happen if NOT using SIO/X00 and using COM/VCOMM with DOS-based X00 and a hardware/external modem. - Have you tried attaching a null-modem RS232l cable between that system and another and establishing a connection directly (TAB in Renegade console) Please let me know...
