Sorry, I find that hard to believe that a 32-bit update for a 32-bit OS would 
cause a 16-bit DOS application, running in virtual-8086 mode, to necessitate 
you having to patch such application to work with such 32-bit update.

What was the specific error with the source code and/or compiler?
