         Got it!  You posted this version a week later than the one we didn't
get while Janis Kracht (Prism BBS, 1:261/38) has both.  Interesting path line
there... we'll test it for awhile & see what happens, although on the surface
the new route at our end appears to be less efficient than the old one.

         At any rate, to make a long story short, this version adds weight to
my theory that if the problem of missing messages is caused by an overzealous
duplicate checker or ??? the easiest solution might be to post the rules etc.
in installments spaced (e.g.) a week apart.  It makes more work for you guys,
but in the end it may also turn out to be more consistently reliable....  :-)
