          Ah.  Still within the same minute, though.

          Sometimes we get a series of messages like this without difficulty
... sometimes we don't.  Whatever you guys were doing worked for us, up to &
including Nov. 28th of 2010.  What has changed since then that neither of us
is aware of remains a mystery.  Intermittent problems are not easily solved.
And WRT these files there's an added complication in that a year had gone by
before I realized you weren't actually leaving out #2 & #3.

          No, we didn't... but Janis did.  I didn't see it when I called her
BBS to determine whether or not she had received both copies of the rules in
Russian, but I saw it later on.  Thanks to you we have more data which might
help identify the problem.  Apparently she's getting this echo from 140/1...
i.e. the same uplink Dallas & I were using earlier.  She may also be getting
it from other sources.  I don't want to bother her too much just now because
she has other things on her mind.  But if 140/1 is able to send stuff to her
which Dallas & I aren't seeing, we may be the only readers affected....  :-)
