   I don't know.  I have several artist friends who do "outdoor"   
   installations where the pieces have to be coated to avoid their   
   colors fading from weather (sun, precipitation -- though we   
   don't have deep cold cycles, here, which might crack some substances).   
      
   These fare well after many years (decades) of deployment.
