   I'm doing the opposite with the 24" TV in the kitchen -- replacing it with a   
   24" AiO to do double-duty as a TV, multimedia player (and teleconferencing)   
   *and* computer (cordless mouse and keyboard that can be stowed out of the way).   
   I've installed it on a swing arm so we can see it while cooking or eating.

   I have found I don't like "monitors" beyond about 30 inches, prefering multiple   
   displays over ones with larger sizes or more resolution (my main desktop is   
   ~8K x ~2K... I forget the actual dimensions)
