   Too small and too fragile. I usually use #26 stranded wire with a knot in   
   it, secured by a loop of solid wire soldered to the ground plane.   
      
   Alternatively, a little rectangle of Cu-clad, glued down with   
   cyanoacrylate, makes a durable standoff that will stand a lot of fiddling   
   and soldering.  Serrated-blade Wiss aviation shears are great for FR-4   
   because they don’t get dull—I’ve been using the same set for 30 years.
