   Thanks, a nice blast from the past. I build SSB side band filters from the war   
   surplus.   
   They could be trimmed slightly down by electro-depositing silver on the   
   contact surfaces.   
   Grinding was much too complex.   
      
   The crystal radio shown in the documentary is wrong - galena is not quartz.
