   Your red laser might be getting weak.  The red laser reads both conventional    
   DVDs and CDs (blue laser for blu discs), but often weak lasers have trouble   
   reading DVDs first, usually when cold.   
      
   You can try cleaning it, but there's a good chance the laser is getting weak.
