   Could still be a knackered relay. My microwave would keep the magnetron on   
   intermittently after it was shut off (telltale hum). I pulled the cover and   
   whacked the relay which would last a couple of weeks before it would hang   
   again. Once it was    
   replaced, the problem went away.
