   I am in the same USENET-Deja-Googegroups-oblivion boat as you but I dont see   
   it that way at all? Just because google says we should no longer use a   
   platform that they aren't making money out of DOES NOT to me say that I can no   
   longer use USENET.   
      
   It does mean that I have to install Thunderbird and look around for a service   
   that lets me use USENET.   
      
   Why would you want to let google dominate your life on this issue, -  when you   
   know USENET is a service you like??   
      
   Has google proposed some compelling alternative to you that I don't know about?
