   And for me, that smacks of too much effort for what I get back.  When I could   
   just click a bookmark to get usenet, it was worth the effort.  Usenet is a   
   shallow reflection of what it used to be.  If usenet was as it was say 15   
   years ago, I might be    
   motivated to figure out a solution.

   Google isn't dominating my life.  When they offered free and easy usenet   
   access, I used it.  When it's gone, it's gone.  Frankly, I'm surprised they   
   kept offering it as long as they did.
