   Exactly! It very much reminds me of Harry Frankfurt's famous essay "On   
   Bullshit", where he observes that bullshitting is different from lying   
   because (just like ChatGPT) bullshitters don't even know or care whether   
   what they say is true.

   That's helpful to know, because it means your news server settings must   
   be fine. Just to clarify, are you trying to send a "Reply" (by email),   
   or a "Followup" (to the newsgroup)? (personally I think this terminology   
   is confusing, despite being used in a lot of Usenet clients; I always   
   have to pause for a moment to remember which is which)
