From: farberbear.unspam@aol.com              I have on my bench an HP Envy All-in-One 34" desktop computer that won't       power on. The mode4l number printed on the bottom of the stand says,       TPC-Q084-34.              My educated guess says the power supply is dead but this is not like the       old ATX switching power supplies. The model number on the label says       APL001.It has a 10 pin output connector which contains 1 green, 1 blue,       4 yellow, and 4 black wires. My intuition says that shorting a black       wire to the green wire should turn it on (if it's working). On the other       hand, I don't really want to guess what these wires do. Does anyone have       any experience with these supplies? Below is a link to a photo of the       connector              https://app.box.com/s/zl395nmkybu0so35euxa6gk5qusq9g4o              Thanks for your reply.       --       David Farber       Los Osos, CA              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
