What is the experience of other users?              I apologize for the long time required to load Rubi 4.6's 5800+ rules and then       modify them to allow for showing integration steps.              On my desktop computer it takes about 132 seconds to load and modify the       rules. If the control variable ShowSteps is set to False at the beginning of       the file Rubi4.6.nb, it takes 85 seconds to load just the rules, about a 35%       time reduction at the        price of not being able to show integration steps.              When Rubi 5 is released, it will require only a few seconds to load since the       rules will be stored as an extremely concise if-then-else decision tree (not       to mention being able to integrate expressions a couple orders of magnitude       faster AND making it        relatively easy to port to other computer algebra systems). Stay tuned!              Albert              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
