Thanks a lot. From Gebauer-Moeller I have only   
   implemented the pairs bookkeeping, no special   
   criterias yet.   
      
   But the two recent posts give a lot to chew   
   on for a while, thank you very much. If runtime   
   is so high, I will need to organize   
      
   for a separate testing machine!
