From: nma@12000.org              fyi;              In the last 2 weeks, I wrote a program (in Mathematica) that       solves first order ODE's (and most basic second order) showing       step-by-step solution.              It takes the ODE, and shows the solution as one would do it       by hand. It generates Latex report directly from Mathematica       and compiles it to PDF and HTML, ready to hand to the teacher :)              It currently handles 1st order: linear, separable,       exact, Bernoulli, Riccati, For second order, I just started       adding these now so it is only the most basic.              To check how it does, I feed it number of text books problems       to solve. Here is the result              http://12000.org/my_notes/solving_ODE/index.htm              I am sure it has some bugs, but this is work-in-progress.              Anything I can improve in it, feel free to comment.              --Nasser              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
