   Hmmmmmmmm. One finds this Masser-Zannier paper listed as:   
      
     D. Masser and U. Zannier, Torsion points on families of simple   
     abelian varieties, Pell's equation and integration in elementary   
     terms.   
      
   as a reference "in preparation" in publications dating from 2014 to   
   2018 (the qualification "simple" had been missing in 2014). A very
