   "first lets remove the word ban from the question. As much as you try   
   to put that word in my mouth I'm not having it.   
   Let's see if I were going to regulate anything it would be weapons that   
   that are/were made for strictly military purposes like AK-47's and Uzis   
   for starters. Since and AR-15 can be used as a hunting rifle it wouldn't   
   be regulated in any way. Actually if you limit yourself to those types   
   of weapons then you come up with a very short list....a far cry from the   
   their going to take everybodys gun hype that you see going on. The problem   
   is that the people who want to do the regulating are people who know   
   about guns at all, that's why they come up with these riduculous bans   
   and regulations."   
      
       And yet, TODAY politicians want to ban the AR-15.   
      
       How did he get it so wrong? What changed?
