I gag whenever I look at an object that has a different color or pattern on   
   the left half than on the right. I start gagging and I cannot eat unless that   
   offending object (such as a garish clown suit) is out of view, and even then   
   it takes a minute for    
   my gag reflexes to calm down. I had this condition way worse 30 years ago and   
   it has calmed down scince then, but this condition is still present. I was   
   told that the condition I have is synthisisia, and is probaly more ommon than   
   generaly known (infact    
   most people don't even know what the hell it is). Solid colors don't have as   
   much off an effect as patterns, and top/bottom halves don't affect me nearly   
   as much as the side by side thing.
