We got measles, mumps,       chicken pox, flu, etc. Just because we can do something doesn't mean       the benefits will outweigh the costs in perpetuity. Plenty of cases didn't:       lead paint, radium paint, leaded gas, asbestos, CFCs, DDT, Thalidomide,       PFAs, and most probably: extending life spans artificially by suppressing       communicable diseases.       --       --              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
