   This also suggests the overwhelming possibility that cause does not   
   equal correlation :)  It's already been shown that statistically,   
   Russians and ex-Soviet Slavs drink more than other cultures on a per   
   capita basis.  That may have more to do with cultural traditions than   
   any genetic predisposition identifiable by eye color.  But Russians are   
   often blond/blue.   
      
   Also, I remember from years ago showing that the longterm evolution of   
   the human species is moving away from blond/blue and even red hair, and   
   towards the skin- and eye-colors associated with southern climes.  Does   
   that indicate lower proclivity for alcohol?  I doubt it!   
      
   I fully support this evolutionary trend towards cinnamon-skinned dark
