   Skill, obviously!  And a highly developed navigation system of which we   
   understand close to nothing.  Look at those Monarch butterlies, salmon   
   spawning upstream to places they've never visited but know innately,   
   etc.   
      
   We know nothing of the ways of most of the rest of the life on this   
   planet.  But we know which creatures taste the best grilled in a light   
   brown sauce and butter!
