Courts make awards for all kinds of reasons.              Yeah, court decisions are only as good as people involved; there are plenty       of examples of poorly reasoned rulings. This might actually be a good use       for AI.              Regarding mobile phone microwave radiation and brain tumors, there has       been a whole lot of money spent studying it and the vast majority of the       results are NO EVIDENCE. The radiation involved in non-ionizing so the       risk isn't from gamma particles, just whether the microwaves are strong       enough to cause heating of brain matter. At most the studies suggest       there could be slight warming with heavy use. Similarly, excessive use of       a laptop might cause reproductive issues for men.. There are many more       microwave towers now than when the issue first came up back in the 90s       but I haven't read of an corresponding increase of brain tumors. Seems       it's the same people involved that are claiming vaccines cause autism,       not a particularly rational bunch IMO.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
