   A lot of this seemed pretty obvious to me, but the warning against sedatives   
   was a surprise.   
      
   There was a recent article reviewing the results of science's   
   longest-running study, where the track the lifestyle choices and general   
   well-being of a particular class of Harvard graduates.  One of the   
   conclusions is that healthy relationships (friends, spouse, etc.) are   
   essential to one's well-being.   
      
   The more we study, the more we learn that getting the basics right is what   
   matters most: friends, clean and natural food, sleeping enough, avoiding   
   stress.  Maybe it wasn't so bad in the pre-Industrial age, after all.
