   Follow-up thought, having now read the article: it comes across very much as   
   a beourgeoisie brigade to maintain upper class lifestyles by punishing the   
   poor.   
      
   In my neighborhood I've got tons of ambulance and police sirens, but that's   
   because both are trying to get somewhere through streets crowded with   
   dumbasses.  Curse this culture of individual vehicles.
