   This underwater forest looks like it's from another planet. The   
   scientists who found it are calling it "the forest of the wild." These   
   unusual life forms are glass sponges. They stay in one place their   
   whole lives and can live for up to 10,000 years. Look closely and   
   you'll see they all face the same direction and that is because of the   
   underwater current. See how the ground slopes down? This forest is on   
   a mountain. Underwater mountains are called seamounts. Thanks to   
   underwater investigations like this, we know that seamounts are a hot   
   spot for life. Who needs aliens when you've got water worlds like
