From: rsw@therandymon.com              From the «plasticky poop» department:       Feed: Latest Science News -- ScienceDaily       Title: People with IBD have more microplastics in their feces       Date: Wed, 22 Dec 2021 08:40:24 -0500       Link: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2021/12/211222084024.htm              Microplastics -- tiny pieces of plastic less than 5 mm in length -- are       everywhere, from bottled water to food to air. According to recent estimates,       people consume tens of thousands of these particles each year, with unknown       health consequences. Now, researchers have found that people with inflammatory       bowel disease (IBD) have more microplastics in their feces than healthy       controls, suggesting that the fragments could be related to the disease       process.                            --       Port 80 is overrated.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
