Not really. This is an open forum and anyone can post anything. Your
second post seems to me to be a different question from your first. You
know the answer to your second question.

he problem with your first post is your use and failure to define the
meaning of "apparent distance". Neither a simple lens or a telescope
correctly modifies an image to a different "apparent distance" unless
all objects in the image are on the same image plane. Otherwise the
perspective changes. Focus distance is one of the least important
factors the human eye and brain use in determining "apparent distance".

   Here's a puzzle:
What was the distance of the two cameras to the models use to take
these two photos? We don't know the focal length or detector dimensions
of either camera. What are your estimates in feet for each distance?
What clues or calculations did you use?

I don't know the correct answers. I expect some here can estimate the
correct answers fairly accurately (within 20% error) with an educated
guess or careful measurements and calculations. I'm asking just as
food for thought about what "apparent distance" means.
