   I used to follow that approach, but I'm finding that if a post (the   
   actual post itself) opens in little tiny type, I can just pull down the   
   Edit >> Decode menu and select the first option (Latin 1), and text   
   jumps to normal size.  Don't have to strip out anything in the headers,   
   though you may need to pull the window to normal width after doing this   
   to avoid excess line breaking.
