   The automotive thermal camera is used for pedestrian detection, so the   
   temperature deltas are usually in the few degree range.  Although the NEdTs   
   for the microbolometers are significantly lower than the target people.   
      
   There are, of course, instances when the background may be a building or   
   other radiantly heated source, so FLIR sensitivity is always a concern --   
   especially during thermal transition times -- at dawn and dusk.
