   Because not ALL the light is going back and forth perfectly   
   perpendicular to the mirrors. In fact, I'd venture to say   
   that VERY LITTLE is bouncing so perfectly.   
      
   Draw the room top down on paper. Draw your position. Have your   
   imaginary person's head looking at an odd angle. Where does   
   it's line of sight go?
