|    Newton's Cat vs. Sir Isaac    |
|    30 Jan 14 18:36:57    |
Several scenarios:              1. The cat kept a watchful eye on Isaac doing his dispersion experiments. The       cat noticed a mouse hiding under the desk, via a multitude of olfactory and       hearing signals. Isaac did not, until the mouse ran out into the open. Isaac       immediately set to work        on a complicated mouse trap, but the cat stalked and killed the mouse.                     2. The cat, having killed the mouse, ate the mouses liver to get vitamin D and       A, etc. Meanwhile Newton was vitamin deficient and began to have       hallucinations. The cat was concerned that Newton was spending so much time on       Biblical prophecy, because this        knight was, after all, the cat's meal ticket.                     3. Finally the cat pretended not to notice all this, since he knew Newton was       not in his right mind. He had free room and board. Newton had taken to       torturing counterfeiters, and the cat was dismayed to see someone injuring       another without even eating        them.              This recorded in the Royal Society Letters, 1702.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
