   Folks who care can get a free newsreader (Thunderbird) that works OK,   
   and furthermore can get a free Usenet account from   
   eternal-september.org.  Even the fancy-schmancy outfits like Supernews   
   only charge five bucks a month.   
      
   Takes maybe 45 minutes to figure all this stuff out and set it up.
