Got one of those. Have you noticed that the "digital quality" of
cell phones is.... crap? I have such a hard time understanding
people over cell phones. They sound like 1k bit rate mp3's.

I use my computer for watching movies as well, but the 'old fashioned'
way with a disc. But I do have a 32" monitor, which is actually a TV.
I'm willing to pay a few extra $$$ so I can own the physical media.
Again, it's a bit rate issue. If I'm paying for something I shouldn't
   see the compression artifacts.

I'm probably just one of those rare folks who wants high quality
   video and sound.

I have a friend who's "worse". He has a home theater. Literally. A
dedicated room with 1080p 3D projector onto 130+ inch screen, surround
sound system with 1200w subwoofer, etc... Even has the reclining
theater chairs with cupholders.... black walls... curtains... You
   might say it's his hobby.
