   No, it was a curved cone with the wide end at the sun, and   
   with the wide end about 1/4 the diameter of the sun, and   
   it was dark gray, not bright, and it wasn't a series of   
   images, it is just the curving out of plane that   
   reminds me of the curving when you peek inside two   
   mirrors facing one another.

   When I said blacked out I meant I lost consciousness   
   briefly and fell into the water, coming to in   
   the upward-facing-dog pose of the yoga sun   
   salutation, and having inhaled so that I was   
   floating and not in danger of drowning. At   
   no time did I lose my sense of vision.
