   To be a broken record here, if you could describe your exact optics, it would   
   help. Assess whether such a description could back-track to revealing your   
   product idea. It only rarely does.   
      
   Pumping more power into the laser source and gathering more photons seem to be   
   the most practical way to go.   
      
   As Ben Franklin said,   
      
   "A photon saved on the front end is worth nine on the back end."
