Compumotor is a brand used by Parker (parkermotion.com) for stepper
motor or servo motor controller. Motion is generally made with commands
given over a rs232 port. Manuals and support are readily available.

Ooops I see it is Compudrive not Compumotor. If you wanted to control a
motor manually with very fine steps, you could still use a Compumotor-
they microstep to 50,000 steps per rev or finer.

We also want to control our Spex 1402 use modern computer but the Horiba guys
say they cannot offer any help. Did you find your solution in the end?
