      From: mark.e.emerson@gmail.com              Put simply, by focusing on the object and not on the mirror.              If you focused your eye on the mirror you'd see the image of the mirror and       not the object. By focusing at object distance you'd see the object and not       the mirror.              You can observe this with any mirror or the screen on your phone. Find a       reflection of the lights above you with your eye. Now force your eye to focus       on the screen. You'll still see the lights but only the screen will really be       in focus.              Your eye is reshaping your lens and changing the focal length to adjust the       object distance that's in focus at the retina.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
