On Oct 3, 2014 I ran this program on a Canon Image Class MF4880dw laser   
   printer. It ran at the speed of printing the paper. I remember running ps   
   programs many years ago and going  for coffee.  I copied  and pasted  the   
   program into a text editor and    
   saved it as fres1.ps. Then I used   
      
    cat fres1.ps | lpr   
      
   It was quite fun playing with the parameters and making new plates on a   
   transparency.
